"Dan was a great host and the breakfast each morning was amazing. It felt like we were in actual Hawaii and not just another tourist hotel. he also showed us around the property and took extra time sharing about Kona coffee and gave us some delicious fruit right off the tree. "

"Check in was the worst! Arrived in the evening and although the front desk clerk tried to give directions to the building/room it was impossible to find. Very POOR lighting so bad I fell on the walkway! The room was clean and spacious Cute sign instructing to remove shoes but the carpet had nails that we all stepped on and cut our feet Swimming pool was closed for maintenance and the next one next to us was empty A nice complimentary Hula Show was an added plus"

"The condo was dated. 2” Ceramic tile counters kitchen and bath. Wall to wall carpet dirty. Old kitchen appliances. Limited kitchen ware. Expect to bring everything, salt, plastic wrap, supplies. No beach chairs. Patios outside were nice; views from all windows were exceptional. Pool was comfortable with lots of loungers, umbrellas, tables and chairs. We had no contact with any staff, except friendly gardeners. "

"Beautiful place making our first visit to the island such a peaceful, relaxing stay! I enjoyed the open windows in our room. There was no air conditioning, but fans were provided. We visited during February and the temperatures would get down in the 60s at night. The only time we saw other guests was during breakfast or at night during our return. My favorite memory was the coqui frogs you can hear at night and the fresh baked goods put out every morning. "

"The room was the most poorly equipped condo we have ever stayed in. Very few kitchen utensils, tiny skillets, tiny coffee pot. No food storage bags or covered containers. Rusty freezer. The outside facilities were nice, clean pool and hot tub, nice gas grills. Not enough umbrellas for shade. Stayed in E3, below street level. Would not recommend."

"My parents and I stayed in room 309 for 3 nights. Overall, we have a great vacation time here. Good: 1) Great location, walking distance to the restaurants and grocery stores. 2) Extraordinary views from the lanai, even better than expected. Although we live in the north-facing room, the side view of the ocean is also great, and the lagoon and mountain give more diversity. 3) Provide everything we need, from a fully equipped kitchen to all of the beach supplies. Great for a family...

"The view was great. Upgraded Kitchen and Bathroom. Ample parking. it does not have AC but you wont feel any difference with the ocean breeze. Great location as its close to downtown Kona and all the beaches in Kona. very quite apartment. We had a great time"

"Recently, my husband & I stayed at a condo name Casa De Emdeko in Kona, Big Hawaii Island for 18 days. It was a clean and beautiful place where we were able to relax, unwind and rejuvenate while exploring the island. We loved the view from the lanai, cool air from the air conditioner, and the beach chairs & the cooler, for a beach picnic, that were available in the condo.
