"Roaches in room 838. Notified mgmt (showed video and picture of roach crawling on walls) and we were given another room (larger) 1709 and a small discount. This was a nice gesture but the thought of roaches crawling on us while we slept and crawling through our belonging runs through our head."

"This is a really bad hotel, more like a 2 star hotel. Avoid staying there. There are plenty of other options in NYC.
Upon check in I was informed that the shop where you can get water was closed. No water in the rooms. The first room they gave me was dirty. I was given another room and that one smelled. I was too tired after a long day to be switched again to another room. The hallways were dirty. The hotel is not properly maintained and nobody cares about your comfort or enjoyable experience....

"I read that this property was remodeled in 2025, but our room didn't look that up to date. I stayed here when it was The Crown Plaza so knew that the location was great! It's also one of the few properties with 2 queen beds. So it fit the bill. We also had AC issues 2 out of the 5 nights, but the hotel took care of us. If you're looking for a great location, then this is your property."
