"Wonderful two nights escape at a legendary classic resort with a quiet, natural and serene setting, superb service from the staff ( Mr Sutrisna, Mr Eka and many others at Reception, restaurants, housekeeping and concierge ). Located at the very heart of Ubud makes it easy to visit many dining and sight seeing places nearby. However, food could be better in terms of choices and taste. Otherwise, a relaxing and memorable short stay and I would love to return again soon."

"Well beyond expectation. Looking at the pictures before our stay, we thought it was going to be a so-so experience because the hotel doesnt look as big as others around the area. However, our experience was wonderful! Service was flawless, quick, and friendly. Room was spacious and clean, and it truly felt like a 5 star experience.
Minor feedback is on how thin the walls felt as we can clearly hear noises from outside or from our neighbors. "

"This hotel is wonderful. My wife and I stayed there for four nights in June 2026. We can not find anything in their service that needs to be improved. The staff are nice. The food is so so enjoyable. The facilities are well maintained. Pool, gym, spa, hiking, yoga, biking, archery, etc, everything is perfect.
The laundry service is great. All the clothes are well cleaned and ironed, and neatly packed and dropped off to my room.

"I have only good things to say about this hotel. The property is amazing. It’s clean, beautifully located, well kept. Villa (luxury with pool) was beautiful. Location with great valley view from both villa and reception. Breakfast with fresh ingredients, perfect amount of options, and possibility to have it served in the room, which we had many of our days there. It was the perfect place for a relaxing stay, and easy to get around by car (Grab or arranged seamlessly and cheap by the hotel).

"We enjoyed our four nights. Had a canopy room, nicely laid out, but seating in sitting room is a rather low, and uncomfortable. Also there aren’t any bedside tables which i like to have. Beautiful pool and lounges comfy. Pity they don’t bring menu around and take orders— you have to go up to bar to do so. Even for water. The breakfast included is very nice , but not much help yourself there- just juice, small amount fruit, and no yogurt- i asked one day for it.loved the iced coffee! Was a...

"This hotel was rebranded from Horison Suite to Metland Venya and has seen a lot of improvement. I loved the infinity swimming pool, the excellent food, and the helpful staff. The room was clean and beautiful. You can hear natural sounds all day, like birds, forest chickens, and the river in the morning. They offer Balinese activities; I joined the canang sari making and wore a Balinese costume. It's the perfect place to spend a honeymoon. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it."

"Overall we had a great stay. Really lovely room and the staff were very helpful.
However, we were always being asked to submit online reviews which after a while became tiresome as it was basically after any staff interaction. A couple of other things to note was that there wasn’t usually anyone by the pool ‘bar’ area meaning it was difficult to order food / drinks, despite it being advertised, so it was easier to use the other Adiwana hotel’s pool across the road where this was much easier....
