"The room was spacious and clean. Blackout curtains were a plus. Hot breakfast was excellent. Staff was friendly, though a bit chatty. The only complaint I have is the noise level as our room was right next to the only (noisy, old and worn down) elevator in the building."

"No elevators or AC, so travelers need to be aware. Not as nice as I expected, but it was okay for an overnight stay. It is oceanfront as advertised."

"wonderful, family friendly place to stay by the beach. it feels really homey and fun. lots of snacks in the office and looks like they lend out beach toys for the kids. room was comfy, warm enough/cool enough, shower nice and hot. we had a great time, the owner greeted us, gave us local recommendations (Crabby Oyster has the best fish and chips!), and was able to accommodate our late check out request. This place is not sleek and elegant--go to a large hotel if that is what you are looking...

"The inn was in a great location and close to pretty much everything in Seaside. A short drive to cannon beach as well. It is an old historical building turned into lodging and just be aware, it is VERY bare bones. Not necessarily bad, just nothing fancy. Continental breakfast is minimal - scrambled eggs, some sausage, boxed cereal and yogurt. Not a bad stay just not necessarily worth the price in my opinion."

"We had a wonderful stay! The room is perfect, on a smaller end but is very functional. The kitchen and the fridge were super helpful to cook healthy meals. The beds were OK comfortable. The tub is really deep and nice. Overall property is really conveniently located right next to the beach."

"This is a very nice and peaceful location. We had a room with a river view and it included a deck with chairs, and a table. The room was very clean and comfortable not to mention, friendly for our two small dogs too. This isn't the first time we have stayed here, but we love it and will continue to keep coming back."
