"We had a wonderful stay at The Boathouse! The location on the river and just a short walk from the city walls was absolutely perfect. No AC in the midst of a heatwave, but the open windows cooled the room down quite a bit. We loved the boathouse decor and our room felt so comfy and cozy. Staff were great and helpful. "Rooms were spacious and lovely and nice outdoor area. Breakfast was nice and I got to sit in (lovely) separate dining area, as I had my Goldendoodle with me, which I was happy with, as it meant I could chill as he had lots of space to lie down. My only negative was we had to pay for parking at £13 (for 24 hrs I think). It was just an expense I hadn't expected. Other than that, everything was great. Would definitely go back if in that area again."

"All good on arrival , room not ready so went for a drink, back at 15.00 room ready(320) looked great but stank of sewage, wife complained ( I can't speak), relocated to room 220, nice room, spotless. All ok until shower time, only one towel, wife complained again, rectified. Went for dinner, all good except tables in bar area not cleaned and had debris on them. Sat down to dinner, ordered food and bottle of chateau neuf de pap, food came, no wine, didn't have any neuf de pap, ordered...

The request had not been received but the staff were accommodating and changed our room for us without any problem, they were kind and considerate and gave us a large 3 sleeper room.
