"Excellent location and friendly staff! There was a lovely lady called jules on the reception who was very helpful throughout my stay. Only bad thing is that the windows in the room don’t open so air can feel quite foisty but the aircon was good"

"The room was spacious, large beds, ensuites and a lovely big living space. The lighting was a bit dim, more lamps would be good. Small things didnt work well, ie, no bedside lights, front door wouldnt lock (except for the yale), a bulb was out, we scouldnt get the phone to reception to work and wifi didnt work either. Some of the blinds need fixing too. However, lovely linen, comfy beds, great location and quiet. "

"We loved the rooms and the hotel. It is in a great location and there is good underground parking albeit £20 pn. Some of the rooms and areas are starting to look a little bit tatty in places. The chair I sat on in the dining area was quite disgusting. It was covered in stains. I would not bother with the breakfast. It is really terrible. "Breakfast was ok, staff really good friendly and helpful but the property leaves a lot to be desired. Very dated and in real need of modernisation. We booked a room with a 4 poster bed then on arrival were told we had a free upgrade to a 4 poster room.... Strange seeing as that's what we requested anyway. Room was at best ok. The bed was pretty wobbly. Ceiling in the room was a false ceiling of tiles like you would find in an office and there have clearly been several leaks coming through from...

"The hot tub was excellent and we used it earlier each day. Although we took most things with us there was a general store just a few yards away. There were two small issues which I brought to the attention of the host and they were dealt with immediately."
