"Lovely overnight stay for morning Gatwick flight; perfect for Cophall airport parking (300m away!) Staff very friendly and welcoming. Gorgeous food in bar for dinner. Really nice room & comfy bed. Only disappointment was that breakfast not available until 8am, which we had paid extra for when booking, not realising this - we had to leave by 8am."

The very cold weather made it even more difficult. The manager was very good and helpful. We hope to get a refund for the second night. The location was excellent and the pub was very quirky and quite special. "

"Well located to shops, restaurants, bus, and walking distance to the train station, but room was pretty basic. Many eateries in the area which serve when the in house catering is closed (open 10:00-3:00). Building is old, so not surprised by some minor plumbing issues. Staff friendly and helpful."
