"This resort was just ok imo. Pretty old and dated. Not the worst place I’ve been but needs work. Carpet old , old scratched up furnishings in the rooms. ATP no hotel should have a tub only glassed in showers. Didn’t use the amenities like the bowling alley as it was closed when we arrived. This place is def for golfers. Asked for a room w a view of the GC and what I got was a view of a parking lot and trees blocked the view of the course. Although Itasca itself didn’t have much to offer it is nearby Schaumburg that has plenty to do and that’s where I’ll be staying for any future trips to the area."

"Karmina was so super helpful! She was my first point of contact there and answered all my questions. I will credit her for making our stay extra special! Our room was spacious, extra clean and a great view. We hope to get a view facing East next time. There is also plenty to do in the area, we felt it was centrally located. We are definitely coming back!"

"The staff was very courteous. The room was clean. The breakfast was what I expected from a hotel complimentary buffet. We were in room 314 which was close to the elevator, and we we heard that noise during the night. The bed was also so soft, it was so sunken, and very low to the ground. But overall stay was very good."

"There were roches in the bathroom. No kleenex, hand towels, shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer, window would close all of the way, neighbors were loud, something very loud like an industrial engine started.on the other side of our bed's wall at 2am and shook the bed for an hour. Floors were sticky dirty. We asked for more pillows (i need them for a back condition) and was told they did not have more than 2/bed. We asked.to switch.to another room so we'd have more beds/pillows and we were told they did have more rooms. Ultimately Expedia called and the manager told clerk to get some from another room. The place was stinky. The only thing this place has going for it is Kevin at the front desk. "

"The hotel was outdated. The rugs were old and musty and the elevator smelled. The pool lining was rough and needed an upgrade. The hotel room keys continuously malfunctioned and I needed to get new keys. The restaurant was not open Sunday or Monday. The breakfast buffet was similar to a continental free breakfast but dinner had excellent choices"

"Under renovation. Be ready for some inconveniences and loud noises from construction…. Would not recommend if you wanna enjoy your stay on 100%. Overall clean and helpful staff"

"The lighting was difficult to deal with. Those bulbs that are almost blue light emitting, not warm or soft at all. I had about 3 spiders that dropped down from the ceiling. The room seemed old, but was newly painted, in bright white. When I turned the heat unit on. It smelled like urine, but the next day it was better. Maybe the room had just been empty for awhile. Overall, the second day was 4 star. The first a two star. Front staff was very nice and helpful. I didn't complain to them. I figured it wasn't their fault."
