"Another fantastic stay at Moat House for my parents, who simply won't stay anywhere else when they're visiting the area! The whole team were phenomenal from start to finish. Apologies that we didn't manage to get everyone's names, but Hannah on reception was amazing at check-in, and Kirsty was excellent at check-out. "Didn’t love this hotel. Best thing was the staff. But the rooms are tired. The gas stoves weren’t working, so only pizzas & burgers were available and then we had a fire alarm going off at 3am. So wouldn’t go again."

"Charming pub with rooms in the courtyard. Each one had parking outside. Very spacious room with comfortable bed, smart tv and tea & coffee making facilities. Good size en suite with great shower. Towels provided along with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast was made to order along with continental options. Staff friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. "

"As with the Z Hotel Piccadilly, this hotel was great in all but one way: air conditioning and ice! It’s hot in the summer, friends — and it’s only going to get hotter! That means you should significantly upgrade your air-conditioning system as soon as you can; the current one is simply not up to the job. And when you serve drinks in the hotel, you should be assuming that everyone will want a glass full of ice — not looking surprised and dubious when a guest timidly asks whether ice is available,...

"Rooms were good size. Bed was large and comfy. Pillows were comfy. Bathroom was a good size. All very clean. The floors in the room are laminate and could do with a good hoover and mop. Swimming pool was a good size. Sauna and steam rooms were working and usable. Gym was small but had everything needed. £15 parking for 24hr is a let down. If your a staying guest parking should be included. Towels are supplied for use at the pool and gym so you don't have to take them from the room."
