"Very accommodating staff. Arrived on one of the hottest days of the year. Staff member offered me an air conditioning unit. He’d also tried to keep the room as cool as possible, prior to check in. Would recommend people to stay here. "
"Owner was so friendly & accommodating & the room was comfy & bright. Lively L’Occitane toiletries in the bathroom to o & quality tea, coffee, hot chocolate & biscuits in the room. Great to have milk available in the fridge at the bottom of the stairs for tea & coffee & also somewhere to store our food we’d brought with us.
Breakfast was fantastic & cooked to order!
Shame the pub across the road didn’t do food though! Would’ve been nice to pop across the road for dinner!

"This charming traditional hotel was clean, comfortable and in an excellent location, only 3 mins walk to the seafront.
Our room was spacious and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
Sidmouth itself is a delightful English seaside town with plenty to see and do, eg walking options a plenty, repertory theatre, open air concerts in the seafront gardens and a variety of exhibitions. "

"Our stay at monkton court was exceptional our hosts Steve & Cara couldn’t do enough our breakfast was always bought to us the time we asked and Delicious. Steve’s poached eggs were perfect . The Maple where we stayed was very clean and bed was so comfortable. Would definitely stay again . "
