"Breakfast was good; however, they can’t cope when it’s busy. They are lacking in the areas of cleanliness and customer service. When we initially checked in, we were given a dirty room with dirty bedding and dirty mirrors. You could see that no one had bothered to check or even clean the room. The remote control was cello-taped at the back, and the batteries kept moving out of place. The telephone itself was damaged. I tried to call using my cellphone, but no one answered. "We needed a place close to Stoke for an event we were all attending with friends. This place was perfect for the 6 of us that stayed there. The hours is very large, with a large kitchen and all amenities. We did not use the TV, so unsure of that function and options. It was nice to have 2 full bathrooms. There is a large fenced back yard where kids could play."

"Property was clean. Not as stated entire property. Shared facilities. Bathroom via the kitchen on ground floor had child. Did not feel we could relax here as thought we had entire apartment. Outside next to little shop. Traffic island outside meant couldnt park outside and single line. Area around property made us feel unsafe- wasnt the best."

"Doesnt live up to the 9.2 rating but was perfectly acceptable and good value. We booked our breakfast for the following day and I asked if they had Lactose free milk. No... they didnt have it... but by the morning she had been out and bought some especialy for me. So 10 out of 10 for that. Good selection for continental breakfast and was even offered scrambled eggs on toast. The place is dated but was ok for a couple of nights. "

"I booked two rooms as a last minute stay. Immediately on bookimg I had two phone calls that I missed as I was in my way to the accommodation. I then received a text message to tell me they could not accommodate my booking and to cancel. I was adviced by Expedia not to cancel as this would be against the cancellation policy - I am still trying to get a refund and will probably have to esculate the process"
