"Sadly, this was a bad experience. I booked via Expedia where the hotel was advertising a Michelin trained chef and a restaurant. I travelled solo 145 miles for a two night break purely because of this. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn the restaurant closed last year. "Arrived to be given a key and parking disc , friendly but nobody overnight at a reception, big room but found it very noisy with the seagulls and road noise as single glazed windows , tap wobbly and no waste cover in shower , should have unplugged the fridge as noisy at night on and off , no plug point near the dressing table so couldn’t see when drying hair , did smell like a greasy spoon !!!"

"The room was very clean and came with a nice moon-shaped batch tub with shower in the bathroom. The staff were very friendly and gave me directions to the hotel, since it was hard to find, even using Satnav. I was able to get a free car parking space because they are limited, so that was a bonus. The room came with free continental breakfast, which was also a nice touch. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay on the sea harbour and highly recommend it to future travellers."
