"We definitely enjoyed our stay, but shocked with the tightness of the room. We were later informed this is consistent across the other CitizenM properties. Great for solo travelers or a couple. Maybe not the best for two besties with too much stuff. Overall a great stay and we enjoyed the decor and vibe!!!"
"We felt secure in this establishment, especially how safe the vehicle was in a locked garage. The staff was very friendly, and was not lacking anything in the room."
"Melissa in front desk is Superb. She knows how to connect to customer and very personable. She went beyond and above her duty. Even taught us how to use Subway and lend us her Metro Card going to Universal Studio 👍. She deserves recognition and perhaps an increase 😉. Thanks for the card. Tip, make sure to ask her how to use subway going to different parts of LA if you hate traffic and her metro card. Just load it again and be generous 😎thanks Melissa. ❤️"
"Excellent location steps from Crypto Arena and LALive! Beautiful historic building, small rooms for the single traveler with larger options available. Clean and quaint, though if you want a view, make sure to make note of it in your special requests. Quiet despite being filled with concert goers on a hot summer weekend. Very friendly staff; room was serviced without prompting and a comfortable bed with TV. Some disrepair noticed in the bathroom with strange shower knobs; water pressure wasn’t the best/rainfall shower head. Loved the different eating options, though not a lot of really cheap or quick food available here. Beautiful outdoor pool; would prefer more free seating options rather than paid cabanas as there’s only ten or so free loungers for the entire hotel which fill up quick on busy afternoons. Elevators can be slow and take a bit of time to arrive if there are lots of people coming and going. Downtown LA location means downtown LA happenings (unhoused on the sidewalk, lots of traffic, city odor, ect.). Hotel has security present 24-7, so I felt very safe my entire stay. Would stay here again!"
"Fantastic hotel, beautiful resort- like, high end aesthetic, with great service staff. J from concierge helped us get a rental vehicle for the last 2 days of our stay, and helped arrange for the rental car to be dropped off and picked up from the hotel - he made it really easy for us! Nice large pool, always had seating available. Complimentary coffee in the rooms and lobby in the mornings was also a huge benefit. Only drawback was the location, I think I spent a lot of time in West Hollywood, so it would have made more sense for me to stay there rather than downtown LA. I would absolutely consider staying there again, and would still highly recommend as the overall stay was really great!"
