"Beautiful hotel in an extremely convenient location to the train station (Waverly) and to the main downtown area. Top floor check in and champagne bar was also very beautiful and it is a nice touch to get a free glass of champagne (or non-alc bev) when you check in, and there were a lot of free drinks and snacks in the room. Only downside is that in the evening, we had significant trouble with slow wifi that made it very difficult to stream movies/shows."

"Overall the property was good but some things to note. 1. Hot water wasn’t working when we arrived. They had someone over within 2 hours to check it, and did end up fixing it within about 4 hours, it was frustrating after a long travel day. 2. The mattress was not very good and the bedding looked run down. 3. "We loved everything about our stay here. The location was within walking distance to many of Edinburgh’s sites. There were multiple restaurant and cafe options in the area. This loft felt so bright, clean, and spacious. We were able to park our rental car in the provided secure space and not worry about it for a couple of days. What a perfect place to explore Edinburgh!"
