Great place but they stole all my stuff.
Nice resort, but had a serious issue with theft.
Stayed here with my partner and overall the property is beautiful and the amenities were great. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by a major security concern. After a trip to the beach, our room key stopped working. The front desk told us it was a lock malfunction and had maintenance replace it, saying our new key would work in about an hour.
We spent some time at the pool, but when we returned to our room later, we discovered that several valuables—including my laptop, AirPods, and a birthday gift I had packed for my partner—were missing from inside a zipped backpack in the closet.
When we reported it, the front desk informed us that they couldn’t file a police report on our behalf and that we would need to go to the local station ourselves if we wanted to pursue it further.
It’s a shame because the rest of the stay was really enjoyable. Just be aware—and leave your tech and valuables at home.
