"Host Tracy was fantastic and speaks flawless English. She helped arrange a last-minute tour for us and clearly wants to be helpful. The “treehouse” was beautiful. Not much common sitting within the unit, but between the hammock and outdoor seating we were very comfortable. It was wonderful waking up in the treetops! A yummy breakfast is available for $10. "

However, the neighborhood dogs get into a shouting match anytime at night so make sure to have earplugs. It was unfortunate because I love the nature sound. "

"I don’t recommend this hotel. Our room had zero ventilation so it got very hot and stuffy at night. There was no fan or ac so it was hard to sleep. There was zero housekeeping and when I needed items like toilet paper or a towel I had to find someone at the front desk - most of the time staff was no where to be found and the front desk was unattended. "We loved our stay in this rustic but comfortable lodge located in the Costa Rican wilderness. The staff are lively and the food excellent. Outstanding bird watching as well."

"The staff took very good care of us. My husband booked a birding tour through the Eco Lodge and the guide did an excellent job. Our room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. The lodge is off the main roads so is more quiet. We would stay again."
