"The property location was perfect for visiting wineries near Stellenbosch. The room was spacious and comfortable with a wonderful balcony overlooking the gardens/courtyard. Breakfast at the clubhouse was amazing — well prepared, and very tasty, but the portions were a bit large."

An amazing oasis. Peaceful stay. Helpful staff. We stayed in a standard chalet which was absolutely fine for us. There are some premium chalets too. Lots of wildlife to see. Very welcome pool and boma. We only stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer and take advantage of the onsite and nearby activities. If you want one of their braai packs on your first or only evening make sure to call ahead the day before. Thanks for having us.

We loved our little chalet which was really comfortable and immaculately clean . It was a little hot even with the air con on but the outside temperature was over 40 degrees which is very unusual . The food in the restaurant is great and the pool area is nice . There are tame deer who are really sweet and hang around the chalets in the morning . The game drive was superb and we saw loads of different animals . Last but not least are the wonderful, friendly and extremely helpful staff . We...

Truly one of the most special places in the world, no place like it. Incredible setting, delicious food and top attention to detail. Patrick and Lamla (spelling?) were terrific and looked after us like family, even driving out to buy me some zamaleks when the hotel didnt stock it. Rooms are spotless and attention to detail terrif. Chef's Warehouse restaurant is a must.
This was our second visit in a year and cannot wait to come back again. Very highly recommend it.

Highlight of our holiday. We stayed for 2 nights and went on 4 drives and saw so many amazing animals. Pretty much everything very close to the vehicle - which was more than I could have hoped for. Our ranger was passionate and knowledgeable as well as determined to make the most of our trip for us. You will not be disappointed if you book here and want to see Lions, Elephants, Buffalo, Giraffe, Hippo, Cheetah and actually so much more!
We chose this resort as we have a 10 month old baby and I...

A wonderful experience. Very warm and friendly staff and very knowledgeable and passionate about conservation and wildlife. The food was absolutely fantastic and the staff were able to accommodate special requirements. We saw every animal we wanted to and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The huts are small but fun.

The rooms here are in lodges, we had booked a Deluxe lodge for our stay and were delighted to be told on our arrival that we had been upgraded to a Luxury lodge with vineyard views. Once inside we were not disappointed! There was a very comfortable sitting room with a bottle of wine on ice, a small kitchen equipped with nespresso machine, fridge with fresh milk etc, further along was another sink area with a fully equipped mini bar. The bathroom had a sumptuous bath plus a large shower with...

Feel the nature! The river, the birds, the frogs - and the milky way. It's one of the darkest places around, so enjoy the view. Also the property itself is very lovely, clean with enough space. You will get 5l of water for cooking, a very good wifi und tv connection (you won't need them).
Great place to enjoy some quiet days - the way via gravel roads and perhaps ferry: it's worth!
