"For the price, this had everything we wanted - access to a well equipped gym, sauna and steam room, king bed and decent breakfast. Staff weren’t overly helpful / customer service wasn’t great overall but in terms of facilities - the room was good, bed was comfy and the breakfast we added was good. Would definitely stay here again for a stop off if doing a long drive across the country again."

When you are arriving at midnight after a long and delayed journey, the last thing you want is to fill in a form with the same details that should already have been transmitted by Hotel.com / Expedia. "Great hotel, walking distance from our daughter’s house, didn’t use the restaurant or bar but both looked nice and tidy. Any interactions with the staff were positive. You have to pay to park but for the 3 days we were there it cost £7.40 Will definitely stay again "
