"Place smelled horrible. Bedsheets were stained. Mold all over the shared bathroom. I found a pair of used underwear beneath my mattress. The place had not been vacuumed in ages. Very shocked Expedia would allow a place like this to remain on their website. "

"The staff were very good. the hotel itself could do with a bit of TLC. I just needed a bed to sleep in so was adequate for my needs. if you want a budget friendly hotel to stay in before heading to Manchester airport which is less than 10 minutes away this is the hotel for you. There is free wi fi but I did find it kept dropping the connection every 30 - 50 mins. there is on site paid parking at very reasonable priced, I stayed for 3 nights in the end and total of £21."

"I'm sorry to say I can't recommend the Alderley Edge Hotel. I stayed here for a business trip to the local business park, booked for two nights. The first night was fine — I slept well. My room (55, second floor) ran warm, but opening the window solved it. In the morning I noticed the shower pole had come away from the wall and was just hanging there. I flagged it at reception. "The property wasn’t ready when we arrived for 3pm, eventually ready at 5pm. When we arrived the fridge was not turned on so we could not refrigerate anything for several hours, the doors were left closed so when opened the fridge smelled awful & very unhygienic. Cutlery & utensils were rusty & in very poor condition.
