"I had a very disappointing experience at this property and would not recommend it. The overall condition of the property was far below what was advertised. It is clear that the place has not been properly cleaned or maintained for quite some time. There was visible dust buildup throughout the property, including vents and surfaces, which made the environment feel dirty and neglected. There were also serious maintenance and safety concerns. "Property allowed us to check in late which was very kind of them. However, the property is old & run down. The hotel don’t choose their guests, but the ones next to us were extremely noisy with the TV on very loud leading to a poor night sleep due to the very thin walls & adjoining door not stopping any of the noise. Conveniently near the water taxis though"

"This place is such a hidden gem due to its newness. Love that it is off on the north island so you can enjoy some peace and quiet but having the luxury of the scheduled ferry boat to take you to the South Island is really great. The room is very clean and modern. Also the bar/restaurant staff are incredible and they have some great eats. "
