"The property is in a great downtown location near restaurants and other attractions. Very clean, large rooms, lovely furnishings. The restaurant had closed the week before our stay and we weren’t aware, but great local options were very close by. Otherwise our stay was great."

"Horrible property, criminal mismanagement. Our room had a horrible odor that worsened when we ran the A/C unit. It smelled like either an animal had died in the vent or the prior occupant had vomited all over the room without anyone cleaning. We checked out after 1 horrible night and switched hotels. At the front desk, they apologized and said to reach out to Expedia to coordinate the refund for the unused night. But when Expedia reached out, the property refused to refund us for the unused...

"This staff were amazing, especially as Expedia didn’t communicate with them about the reservation. No problem for the staff as they made it right even though it wasn’t their fault. Centrally located to local restaurants and a short walk to the Allianz Amphitheater. "

"Very nice hotel at a good price in a downtown Richmond location. The desk staff were super nice and very helpful. They have a very interesting elevator system where you touch the screen for the floor you want. When we were in the parking garage, it took me a while to figure out how to get to the lobby (which has its own logo at the bottom of the numbers). "Had a great time with the pinball machines and game systems! Kids loved them too! And it was a great location right by the highway, but in a quiet neighborhood."

"Our room was okay. However, the shower gel was empty. Couldn’t even get a squirt out of it. Maid service was only every three days, which was fine but on the third day, all they did was empty the trash and put fresh towels in the room. Didn’t make the bed, shower gel wasn’t filled. The “free” breakfast was a joke."

"This was the worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in. No room housekeeping. 1 day out of 7. Had to go down to get clean towels because no one ever brought them to me. Breakfast was so-so. Not the normal at other Hampton Inns. I DID NOT GET HILTON POINTS FOR THIS STAY FROM HILTON. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN AND I WOULD SUGGEST ANYONE INTERESTED GO TO THE HILTON GARDEN INN NEXT DOOR!"

"The property and room was wonderful. The staffing in the morning was a little unfriendly but the afternnon/evening person was delightful, We loved having all of the ammenities of the room. We would have loved it even more if they had a hot tub. Very clean and comfortable Beds "
