"I had a wonderful two night stay at Kesa House. It is conveniently located for the MRT from Changi to the hotel. There are a lot of hawker centers within 10 min walk and a great base to explore Chinatown with all the art murals. I was impressed by the friendliness of all staff that I encountered. I think anyone who books a luxury hotel wouldve expected to be greeted upon arriving, to have enough amenities for their stay, to have comfortable bed to sleep in. Housekeeping was everyday but could be every other day for environmental friendly. Just a block from all restaurants and souvenirs stores. Metro just a block away as also a shopping mall. "This hotel has immense colonial charm (some won’t like it for that reason, but I did). A few little tips - Wotif says it’s 13km from Changi airport - Major furphy - more like 45mins (checked the taxi receipt so I could check the sense I was in the taxis for a v long time). Very positive is the Polo Bar (the staff rustled me up a cheese plate after hours) and the pool (unlike the high rise hotels which can be very busy I virtually had the pool to myself on a Sunday).
