"Our favorite place to stay when coming back home to the Central Coast! Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The jetted tub in the King suite never fails to also be clean and soothing. Location in AG Village is awesome! "

"To their credit, the staff was helpful and got us a new room, but we still had to get a new room as soon as we arrived. The sheets were covered in dirt and stains; though things were tidied up, the place itself is worn down, and rugged. For the three nights we spent, it did its job when it comes to providing us a place to sleep, but other than that, it was very okay. It would not be our first choice if we came back to Arroyo Grande, probably not even on the roster. If you can afford another...

"Entrance was hard to find. The staff was nice, was able to check in early around 130pm. Overall it was okay for the price. The bathroom had a bug walking around, a spider near the bed, and no chair’s on the balcony. Was here on a Friday night and you can hear live music really loud until 10pm. "

"Everything was great!! I give it a 4/5 stars cause the rooms are just a bit stuffy/hot. No matter how much you play with the thermostat the temperature feels warm. Staff was amazing! Everything is SUPER clean and organized! The hot tub was perfect! Will definitely stay here again. "

"Parking was great, right by our door, no fees, no valet, so easy. Room was clean and housekeeper even left a note, (Maria, I believe). We arrived late, and the innkeeper Daniel, left a code in a lockbox, and sent a secure electronic key via my mobile device. Very close to restaurants, thinking breakfast at Zorros cafe an easy block walk away was great, with a Shell Beach Inn coupon. "Property was in great condition. Located directly on the beach and close to restaurants and shops. The ocean front rooms are worth the extra dollars in my experience."

"This is an older property. The great thing is you do get some larger rooms/bathroom. Could use some updating but then you would be paying a higher rate because the location is great! Everything is within walking distance. Stay during the week to get the lower rates as everything goes up for weekend rates. Definitely would stay here again. When AC was out on the first room, they addressed the issue right away and moved us to a new room. So some rooms need maintenance, but again, the price...
