"We had a superior room which was a good size comfortable bed very clean. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Wardrobe a bit small, we had a recycle section in bin, which is great but would have been helpful to state what items were best for this section. Very enjoyable stay would happily use again."

The disappointment was the room was much smaller than picture on expedia. in making your reservation ask them about the size of the room. location is good but it is hard to get out of the parking lot due to hedges blocking view it made id difficult"

"I was put right at the top. It might have been nice to be in a lower room as I had a lot of bags. No one answered the telephone. The room was a bit tired and worn, not worthy of the price paid. It felt more like an elderly bnb than a boutique hotel. "

The only slight annoyance was that we couldn’t get the air conditioning to work, so had to sleep with the window open, which meant that the gulls woke us up quite early in the morning. We were celebrating our birthdays and the hotel gave us a lovely plate of cakes to honor this! We skipped paying for breakfast because there are so many wonderful bakeries in Bath and the breakfast was on the pricey side. I still wouldn’t hesitate staying here again! "

"This hotel is not 5 star, it’s more like1 star. It’s very worn, poor quality furnishings and overall is extremely tired. I recently booked and when I arrived and saw the room refused to stay. The hotel wouldn’t refund or even make a gesture so do not book non refundable. I was allocated room 8 and it was like the worst B&B from the 80’s. "The host has thought of everything! It is truly a home from home (but this place has far better decor than my home!) Felt v relaxed in the living room but the bedroom with en-suite and a dressing area made it feel large and comfortable.. Large kitchen with table for 2. Far better and so much more than a hotel room.
