Perfect for Parents Weekend

Barbara and John were gracious hosts who made sure our needs were met. We appreciated the opportunity to stay so close to our son’s school and have a place that could adapt to the schedule of Parents Weekend.

Bug invested, filthy room

I spent nearly two hours killing flies and blood-filled bugs in the room which had a strong, unpleasant odor that I couldn't identify. There were dead flies ground into the rug and bugs and dust everywhere. There were hairs on my sheets. It made my stomach turn. There's no internet and I couldn't text or phone. This place is beautiful outside but inside it's shabby, really shabby, without the chic. We left and they refused to refund our money for the second night.

Peace, Quiet, Country

This place is for peace and quiet in the Blue Ridge. Close to all the sites, but after you settle in, you won't want to leave.

Lovely bit of country

Right in the middle of a farm, very quiet. We especially loved the chiminea. Since the owners don't live there, this would be a great place to rent the whole house for a family getaway.

We had a wonderful time in the bucolic Virginia countryside and were treated with the utmost hospitality and grace.

Private getaway

Great getaway! We had the house to ourselves to enjoy all the roomy but cozy rooms. Dr. John and Barbara were great host and hostess. The breakfast was great. Next time I would love to taste the french toast. Great area to get out and walk around, vist the cows and swing on the porch. What quiet fun! Well kept and clean B&B.

A very nice place to stay. The innkeepers are friendly and gracious hosts. A peaceful place to spend the night close to the Shenandoah National Park.
