"Sauberes großes Zimmer im kleinen Häuschen Visavis dem Gasthof. Schönes Badezimmer. Abendessen sehr gut. Fangfrische Forelle aus dem Dorf! Frühstück englisch, Kaffee unbrauchbar. Aber Nespresso Kapselmaschine im Zimmer. Die Lage! Sind in der Früh um 8 zur Arlington zum Fotografieren (nicht mal 5 Mi uten zu Fuß) und hatten die für uns alleine!"

"The staff were extremely helpful when we suffered a bad experience with our food on our first night's stay. Stick to the basic meals on the menu, like the burgers and fish and chips! We booked a bed, breakfast and evening meal deal for 2 nights, to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but, on reflection, should have booked everything separately, because we would be over £100 better off!! Apart from being placed at the worst, and least private, table in the restaurant, we only had a limited menu...

"Some really good points to start. The location of the hotel is super handy for Gloucester/Cheltenham/Cotswolds etc the car park is large and free. We didn’t find any issues with parking. The room we stayed in for a week was their basic double and it was large with a comfortable bed. The room was serviced each day. We opted not to have their breakfast but did eat once at the hotel. The service was pretty slow and the bar service was also slow. We had a treatment in the spa it was very average....

"Great location, large rooms."

"Staff not friendly or helpful. No help with luggage and very narrow doors too. WiFi was almost non existent which is a problem if you need to work. Shower looked dirty and smelled sour. Windows didn’t stay home and it was hot. But that is probably for the best since pigeons rooster right next to window and woke us up. Setting is charming. Loved the idea of it. Does have a lift."
