"Breakfast excellent. Gym and pool area great. Staff lovely and very helpful. Rooms very clean. A few simple issues like no soap in the shower dispenser, light bulb by bed missing. Safe not working. All small things which should have been checked when the room was cleaned.
Communal bar area was not very clean. Saw an old slice of lime on the floor by patio doors and it was still there the following morning. The breakfast tables were not clean underneath ( the centre leg) it is a nice hotel just...

"Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Crescent Place. The team member on site was very friendly, chatty, and helpful, which made a real difference to our experience.
Our only concern was that our room was noticeably smaller than the one our friends stayed in despite us paying the same price. Our bed was a double and they had a king sized bed. The bathroom in Room 13 (the attic room) was also quite compact.
On a positive note, we appreciated the thoughtful touches on arrival, with milk and water...

"Love the Portland Guest House, fantastic location for wide choice of restaurants in the town. The place is always spotless and the staff are so friendly.
Entry is now via key box system and breakfast has moved over to Continental only. This still offers a good choice of food and drinks.
Defo recommend the place."

"Check in procedure was a bit unusual for me, if I’m honest. It took a couple of phone calls, emails and having to download their app. That said straightforward once you understood it.
Paid offsite parking is a block away. Wouldn’t have been ideal if I’d had a suitcase to lug around.
Parking and accommodation on separate invoices.
I had clocked it not a hotel, but serviced boutique apartments.
Location is great. Good choice of eateries close by.
All said, now that I know what to expect...

"We visited Cheltenham with our 18 month old to go to a wedding.
The building is a beautiful period property but there isn’t a lift, so request a 1st floor room if you have a lot of luggage!
Room was beautiful and we had a lovely view of the park. "
