"The Egerton House Hotel in London, England was the BEST hotel I have ever enjoyed staying at! It is not large but its understated level of luxury, immaculate decor, and over the top service from every single staff member I encountered made this the hotel visit that tops anything else I have experienced.
I would give it way more than 5 stars if I could, but 5 stars it is.
Also it sits in a prime location, on the edge of a housing area of beautiful old townhousesa and half a block from busier...

"Have stayed at the townhouse a few times, unfortunately I think this will be the last time. Generally when I stay at hotels several times, there is a level of acknowledgement to this - not here though. We got put in a basement room, which they obviously only use when they are full - it’s terrible. Staff walking to and from a kitchen at eye level outside the window, flickering lights - something out of a horror movie.
Such a shame, it’s been a great place previously."

"Pros: the location is fantastic.
Cons: the sofa bed should be condemned - its not fit for use, I pulled the mattress onto the floor on the second night. The whole place needs a little attention - simple stuff like batteries in the tv remote, a tv that connects to the web, air con unit and fans need filters changing and cleaning, a blind in the kitchen for privacy and keeping the sun out. Simple stuff which for the money you shouldn't have to ask."

"Clean and beautiful room. In a nice residential neighborhood. Concierge Daniel was most helpful and hospitable and gave us a tour of the hotel regarding a bit of history and its artwork. Also, we enjoyed the Cadogan Garden tour provided by Daniel also. He made our stay pleasurable. We also liked the big bowl of fruit and plenty of bottled water in the room."
