"We had a lovely and comfortable stay in this well-located house. Even though I missed the check-in time details, Lisa was extremely accommodating and gave us a very warm welcome. She also recommended some great places to eat and visit, which we really appreciated. We would happily stay here again."

"Really lovely place. Very quiet and peaceful. A bit off the beaten track but still only half an hour away from Bristol. Really comfortable bed, and I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages. I wouldn’t say this if it wasn’t true! Only one minor point is that the shower head was a bit too low for me, as I’m around 6’ tall."

"Clean comfortable rooms with high quality bedding. Good bathroom facilities with walk in shower. Cooked meal not available after 2200., only sandwiches. Pity about walk from terminal, particularly with two heavy cases. A golf cart shuttle would be useful for older customers."

"Lovely quirky place hosts and staff were lovely.absolute highlight was the food served in the beautifull train carriage,we both had the steak highly reccomend it as good as the ivy.entertainment both nights really enjoyed,lovely garden. "A very nice hotel, the rooms at the rear of the hotel were former farm buildings which have been completely renovated. There is a wet room ensuite which is well appointed. The restaurant has a good choice of food which is excellently cooked and presented. The breakfast menu which has to be ordered the evening before was slightly confusing until I worked out that the price stays the same and you just tick your personal choices. Well sited and only 6 minutes from the Bristol Airport Silver Zone...

"I stayed at this for a few days of peace and quiet and not sure I could find a better place. The whole establishment was clean and a nice balance between retro and modern, which made it homely but also very comfortable. I stayed in one of the top floor rooms with new Veluxes, a shower with excellent hot water and comfortable towels. Breakfasts are delicious and well worth the price inclusion, and any issues I had were quickly sorted by the staff. If you're thinking of staying here, you can't go...

"The pub is an old building, therefore there are things that cannot be changed, so if you are a light sleeper and cannot use ear plugs this may not be for you. It was not an issue for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, we had one evening meal there, breakfast was perfect, they were very accommodating by tweaking the menu to what you prefer. Very close to the caves and gorge, easy to access other attractions."
