"I stayed at this for a few days of peace and quiet and not sure I could find a better place. The whole establishment was clean and a nice balance between retro and modern, which made it homely but also very comfortable. I stayed in one of the top floor rooms with new Veluxes, a shower with excellent hot water and comfortable towels. Breakfasts are delicious and well worth the price inclusion, and any issues I had were quickly sorted by the staff. If you're thinking of staying here, you can't go...

"An excellent modern standard of decor throughout. Spacious bedroom crisp white linen and comfy pillows. We had an evening meal which we enjoyed. All staff especially those in the bar and restaurant areas worked very hard and provided excellent service. I would certainly return. Unfortunately no EV charger but staff directed us to the nearest points."

"We were so impressed by this hotel. We only paid around £60 and had a lovely clean, modern room with tea and coffee making facilities. The only negative I can think of is that the carpet is a bit threadbare in the corridors but that made no difference to our experience. We were lucky to have a view over the lovely marina. The staff were ultra friendly and helpful. Free parking very close by and bars and restaurants also very close. I would highly recommend this hotel and I am just about to book...

"Very convenient location for the Royal Bath & West Showground. Owner was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was a little small but contained everything we needed and was very comfortable. We ate here on both nights of our stay and the food was great. Breakfast was also lovely. The room would benefit from a few cosmetic improvements but we would certainly stay here again."

"Great location for park and ride into Bath. We stayed in the main building-this was a mistake. It was noisy-the annex (where we have stayed before) is much better. Our room had a great view of the race course but unfortunately was directly above the kitchen. Kitchen smells and noise drifted up and on one occasion very loud music from the kitchen. "The staff were excellent unfortunately the facilities were not. We had a bad nights sleep - the bed was uncomfortable and there didn’t appear to be any kind of sound proofing in the rooms as it felt like we could hear every coming and going in the hotel, including the guests talking in the next room. The bathroom was also not very clean, there was black mould on the door runner in the shower and even the toilet roll holder was rusty. The breakfast was disappointing and poor quality."

"Great location, however the idea of being awoken earlier than anticipated by faulty air conditioning. This triggered the in room gas leak detection alarm, which the on site staff responded to quickly by turning the air conditioning unit off. Silenced the alarm, but turned a/c off, and we were the up w hours earlier than anticipated for early departure, which was the reason for staying close by. Appreciate these things happen and grateful for alarm, however presume ac had not been serviced."

"We stayed at The George Hotel as a midway stop that provided easy access to Bath. We had a standard twin room which was hidden in the back corridors of the hotel. The room was gloomy and in need of an upgrade. It doesn’t match any of the pictures offered by the hotel. Go for the premium rooms they may be what I saw and expected.
