Bar manager was very sociable for after dinner drinks. Room was a very good size with large ensuite with bath and separate shower. Bed super comfy. Small negatives were no milk on the hot drink tray. Impressive cobweb in bathroom and some damage to wallpaper and rug. None of which detracted from a great stay. Would easily recommend to...

"We were looking for somewhere to stay whilst attending a family function and by chance cane across The George and Dragon. We are so glad we did! What a beautiful pub with bundles of character. Our room was gorgeous; modern yet rustic and equipped with everything to make our stay spot on! Staff were lovely and attentive, and breakfast was amazing. "We had to extend our stay after our flight was cancelled and although the room we were in was not available the lady on the front desk was just wonderful. She made sure we could move straight to another room and all was easy. "
