"The hotel was relaxing, onsen was amazing, dinner was a limited menu but good. The secenery was stunning. The staff were hard to find at times, overall I would definitely come back."

"The property is a little run down but clean. The staff was rude when we were trying to check in. My husband and kids were behind me checking in and were told they couldn’t be there and shooed them away and then when my family moved down the hallway to wait me for me they came and asked them to move again. But no recommendation of where we would wait."

"-Da Ryokan liegt ca. 30 Minuten Abseits von Hakone in den Bergen. Wer diese Erfahrung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. -In der näheren Umgebung gibt es leider nicht viel zu tun oder zu sehen, allerdings gibt es einen Family Mart ca. 30 Meter neben der Einfahrt. -Der Empfang ist wie erwartet sehr freundlich und hochprofessionell -Das Zimmer ist für fans des traditionellen Japan ein Traum. Futons, Tatami-Matten und ein eigenes Privat-Onsen sind auch vorhanden. Das Privat-Onsen haben wir nicht...

"The room was clean and spacious. Although the hotel is a bit older, everything is well maintained. The staff is very helpful and give support very quickly. The buffet restaurant is excellent with a very large selection of food and desserts. The staff also take care of used plates vert quickly. There also is a a very nice view of Mt Fuji from their garden."

"施設はまだ新しく、清潔感満載のホテルです。またテントと露天風呂のある別室（ガーデン）もしっかりとプライバシーが保たれ、お湯も適度な温度で大変満喫出来ました。 サービスも従業員の方々の笑顔での丁寧な対応は大変よく、到着時の軽食や選べるシャンプー、ボディーソープ、ソフトドリンクとアイスの無料サービスなど至れり尽くせりで満足いくものでした。 ２点ほど気になった点は、水回りのミラー内蔵型時計や同様の共用部分のトイレの時計が正確じゃなかったり、部屋内の冷蔵庫が殆ど効いていなかったことは少し残念てした。"

"i wish i could live here. the staff was so sweet, they helped bring me into my room, brought my luggage, and sat me down for check in. i love the free waterbottle they gave, i loved the free drink bar with so much different teas, and i loved the breakfast. their food is so good, their onsen is great, and the parking is free too. the hotel is on a hill so you must get food from the nearby 7-11, sushi resturant, or box burger. i want to stay at this place a again. my daughter and i loved it!"

"I left feeling disappointed given the price point. At over $800 per night for two adults and two children, I expected a much higher-end experience. While breakfast and dinner were included, both were buffet-style with a large selection of food and alcohol. The variety was impressive, but the overall food quality felt average and did not match what I would expect from a property charging premium rates. For this price, I was expecting restaurant-quality dining rather than a typical buffet...

"Beautiful gardens and traditional Japanese rooms. Onsens are wonderful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only problem is that the hotel is quite isolated, so you must rely on the hotel shuttle to drive up/down from the local bus route. Other than the hotel restaurant, there are no other restaurants/convenience stores anywhere close (15-25 minute bus ride away). Not many taxis in the area either."
