"A lovely overnight stay at the Grange Country House. We received a lovely welcome from Michael, he was very informative and helped us to get settled in quickly. He gave us a tour and explanation of where everything was and about breakfast. The room was perfect, very clean and excellent condition. The breakfast was delicious the next morning and everyone that worked there was smiling and helpful. We will be staying again. "
"We had a lovely one night stay. We were warmly greeted and our room was spacious, up quite a few stairs so beware if you have heavy cases. We enjoyed a swim in the pool and used the hot tub. A well equipped gym was also available. The pool was very clean and a pleasant temperature. These facilities were all included in the room price but there is a limited timetable when you can use the pool due to lesson and member sessions.
We ate dinner at the hotel which was very tasty and well presented....
"Traditional and slightly dated hotel. The accommodation was more than adequate and the food and service excellent. Its proximity to Keswick town centre is a bonus, especially as parking is free. After checkout we were told we could leave our car on the premises for the rest of the day if we so wished. "

I really appreciated the ease and efficiency of contactless check-in (and the extra tea, coffee and milk packets by the front door). Quiet and clean room with super comfy beds, and a great shower. "Such a great room, especially with a dog. We had a door straight out in to a lsmall beer garden. Absolutely huge shower & extra large room were great too. Extremely good value room & very quiet. We also ate there on the evening & food was really good, all home made & a cheesecake to die for. We were doing a charity walk nearby at Buttermere on the Sat so it was perfectly positioned for us. Thanks again."
