"The hotels location is about the only thing it has going for it. The price you have to pay to be in a construction zone is more than it is worth the staff minus the valet staff was something you would expect from a motel 6 and charged the price of staying at a ritz Carlton which I would choose if rather than be placed from one inadiquite room to another. "Adorable place in Dana Point. The decor is extremely well done in an old Spanish mission theme. The staff is very friendly. It was perfect for a quick, affordable escape near the beach. One disappointment was that the walls were super thin and we could hear everything from the next room. Another thing to note for people unfamiliar with the area is that Pacific Coast Highway is in between the hotel and the beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."

"We truly enjoyed our stay here! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and helpful. We were greeted with glasses of rosé at our evening check in and dog treats and a toy for our pup. The room was adorable, spacious, and clean. We loved the breakfast service and pool area and appreciated that they provided beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas. We will definitely be back!"

Upon arrival there was a gentleman in front of me that had no reservation and was given 2 rooms on the spot. A reservation should come before a walkin. My room is my room.
