"Very convenient location, breakfast was excellent ,staff vey helpful. Because it is an old building the rooms are a bit creaky and stairs steep . No lift. Car parking available in public car park five minutes walk away. Scratch-card vouchers available from hotel at £10 for 24 hours."

"the room was very comfortable had everything you could ever need. Jan and mark welcomed us into their home for breakfast every day very patient as we were late risers. They went way beyond normal hospitality drove us to the beginning of the water meadow walk in Salisbury and wrote out the. route for a drive through the new forest. We were staying for 5 nights wished it was longer as we were made to feel at home immediately on arrival. If only all holiday owners were like them. There was a bus stop at end of road to take you into Salisbury and a park and ride near by. The out side area was excellent large table and chairs for al fresco dining comfortable cushions."

"A beautiful historic building in a quiet location with free parking. We stayed in a deluxe double room which was on the top floor. The room had been fairly recently renovated and the bathroom was very modern. If you stay on a Sunday night there is no food available but you can walk along the "town path" into Salisbury city centre in about 15 minutes."

"We were attending a wedding at the hotel and on the day the electricity went off. It was completely out of the hands of the hotel but the staff worked tirelessly to ensure the wedding reception could go ahead. There was no power from 6am until late into the evening but somehow they kept everything on track and the event was a huge success. How they managed to serve such high quality food under the circumstances I don’t know. I’m sure they were all exhausted by the end of the day, but thank you for all your efforts!!"

"Really great location close to the train station. Staff were really helpful, especially with storing bags after check out. Room was clean, although the bathroom did have a lingering solvent smell, like it had recently been repainted. The hotel itself runs its own shuttle service to Stonehenge which was super convenient. Breakfast was good too."

"Lovely building with great views of the cathedral. Rooms clean and spacious. Booked 2 twin rooms for 4 pensioners. Only criticism was one room had bath with a shower head but no shower curtain or wall fixing to secure the shower head to have a shower. Wasn’t expected and was rather inconvenient for elderly occupants. That said we had a lovely stay"
