"Lodge was very tried and poorly up kept inside, especially on the outside. Should not be advised has a superior lodge it was very basic, very poor standard. The outside was unusable, outside furniture was dirty and broken. However, the lodge was in a nice woodland setting in a good area for exploring the new forest with plenty of lovely walks. Cannot really comment on the facilities on the site, as we didn't use, although they looked good for anyone with a young family, with plenty of entertainment happening. Found the staff in reception very rude, no welcoming what so ever"

From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and relaxed, making it a perfect getaway for the two of us. One of the highlights of our stay was having our own private hot tub. It was such a great touch and made the whole trip feel extra special—ideal for unwinding and enjoying some quiet time together. In the morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return. It’s a charming spot with thoughtful touches that made our visit memorable."
