"The spa was amazing!"

"All 3 rooms had bugs, electric plugs didn’t work even after they came to fix them, staff seems unhappy and unwilling to help (except Fernando!), a staff member told me to come by the front office and then took my phone to “show me something” and FILLED OUT the check in survey herself and put all positives. She tried to do the same thing with the checkout survey but I told her no. AC in our room did not work. Room was horribly hot. Our fridge door wasn’t even on the fridge. Fan in room was busted. Service was not great. Not a single person smiled or was happy or welcoming. Check-in took like 1 hour at least. Nothing was well structured. Rooms were very outdated. Phones in rooms didn’t even work to call front desk or anywhere. I could go on and on! We had 3 rooms with different members and ALL experienced the SAME problems. The only thing that helped our stay at ALL was Fernando who helped with reservations and checkout and some bookings."

"Private pool was a great decision. Was not a huge fan of the buffet food, but the Mexican and hibatchi restaurants were fabulous! "

"Very clean room, very hospitable and responsive staff. Telephone and bedroom TV were not working, but that wasn't an issue. Responded to a broken toilet within an hour and had it resolved in a timely manner with limited interruption to my stay."

"I absolutely had a great experience overall staying at this hotel. My room was one of the best rooms I've ever stayed in! Absolutely felt at home and comfortable. The food and pool were great. The drinks from any of the bars were top-notch! Bartenders and servers were very friendly! So much fun, and we do plan to go back if we never have to deal with one person ever again. The salesperson who sat us down was an absolute waste of our time. He was extremely condescending and one of the worst salespeople I've ever dealt with, especially on vacation when everything else was so good. "The was a wonderful place to stay. Very beautiful everywhere "

"This resort clearly invested heavily in appearances—the property is beautiful and feels luxurious at first glance, and the food was generally good. Unfortunately, that’s where the “luxury” experience ends. Service and operations fall well short. Our check-in was delayed, and after being told to return at 3pm, we waited another 1.5 hours in the lobby while staff stalled. Key information was never shared: how to book restaurants, the need for towel cards, and even the card required to use the safe (we went three days without one). What should have been minor issues became daily frustrations because the lobby is far from most of the resort. We had to go back every day to fix problems that should have been handled at check-in. Our room keys also deactivated mid-stay. Service was inconsistent. Pool bar staff were rude and reluctant to make basic cocktails—multiple times we ordered margaritas and were pushed toward beer instead. Even more off-putting was the aggressive pressure to leave reviews. At checkout and at a restaurant, staff repeatedly insisted we complete reviews on the spot despite polite refusals. Individually these are small issues, but when something goes wrong every day, it reflects poor management. A beautiful property that prioritizes looking luxurious over delivering a truly relaxing experience. "

"Overall enjoyed my stay and seemed like a good deal for the fairly affordable price. Unfortunately upon checking out I was asked by to wait until a walkthrough was completed of my room. I was forced to wait nearly half an hour while a Staff inspected every corner of the room. After the lengthy inspection was completed I was told I’d need to pay an extra fee for a few coffee drops that spilled on a sheet. The extra fee and inspection seems slightly unnecessary and another way to justify charging you more for your stay. If you stay at this hotel I’d be extremely mindful that any small item out of place or used could request in additional charges."
