"Charming, quirky place, more than adequate for a one night stop over. Pleasant room with nice, recently refitted bathroom - sadly very hot/stuffy during recent hot weather. EV chargers did not work for me unfortunately. Food rather uninspiring and underwhelming, otherwise would stay again."

"I liked the location near the motorway - it's a busy golf and leisure club. Car park was full. Very quiet location, rooms spacious but there's no air conditioning. Nice bar where you can get a drink or a snack. Breakfast was nice - service not quite on point"

"Last-minute booking for Goodwood Festival of Speed and luckily we found a room here. It was better than I expected from photo, a spacious room with a 4-poster bed, the bathroom had a bath and a walk-in shower. Although no air-con, there was a large fan and we slept well. My husband enjoyed the full breakfast with good quality bacon, eggs and sausage; he doesn't eat tomatoes, so declined the heritage ones offered. "Old World Charm. The cottage style single rooms were gorgeous. Staff were so friendly and helpful. It was the hottest few days of the year but they remained cool and calm. The food was excellent. Couldn't recommend it enough. Looking forward to being able to go back again."

"Overall stay was okay, venue in itself was clean and well maintained. However there was no restaurant open due to a conference being held, only the bar was open with a limited menu. Food took over an hour to arrive and staff had to be reminded several times. On arrival food was cold and at that point not enjoyable for the overly expensive price."

"The hotel is great value. The family room was comfortable and fit 4 of us nicely. The room was clean and it was easy to come in and out after hours. The shower was nice but the temperature was either too hot or too cold and looked like the tap needed fixing. Overall a great place to stay."

"The attic rooms, which are expensive, are not fit for purpose in hot weather. No air-con, of course, but you can barely open the windows. The sun blasts on to the roof just above and creates an oven! The provided fan was little help. Very bad night's sleep. The unhelpful receptionist told me that the hot room was due to the heat. I asked if we could swap rooms, but he said the hotel was fully booked, despite a portable sign outside saying 'Rooms available tonight'. Breakfast was very poor....

"Perfect venue for relaxing in West Sussex. Golf course and great practice facilities on site. Amazing brand new gym, good spa. Good restaurant and breakfast. Staff incredibly good."
