"Great pub, with a beautiful garden and a very helpful landlady"

"Staff were excellent but there was dust in our room and the bathroom was not very clean. A dirty towel had been left outside the door and the hedge adjacent to our room was overgrown and restricted access. Dinner I'm afraid was not good, I ordered a fillet steak and asked for new potatoes as I was on a low fat diet. When it arrived I had new potatoes, tomatoes and mushrooms covered in oil and two burnt onion ring! But my husband said his dessert was delicious. Breakfast was help yourself...

"Stayed here 3 nights to attend a family event locally- have stayed before for one night stays only for early flights etc… Hotel has had a refresh not so long ago and the rooms are more modern … although less storage and hanging as most only stay the one night . Room amenities for the room type booked show photos of coffee machines but there was only a kettle. Coffee machines in the next level up room type. Location and facilities of food and beverage excellent. Room servicing was a problem...

"We only stayed for one night but had a really lovely evening! The staff were very friendly, the pub/hotel have been recently refurbished and it's great. The rooms have everything you'd need, comfy bed, great shower, lovely lighting, loads of plugs! The bar and food was great. Overall really lovely and we'll stay again as we're often down to visit family."

"We found it challenging to find the entrance to the hotel from the airport, you can’t enter from the outside, only from a tube connecting the terminal. One elevator was broken and the other was extremely slow and often full from staff with carts of dishes or housekeeping supplies. The food in the bar was pretty awful and overpriced. My daughter ordered nachos which were probably the worst I’ve ever had; fake, liquid cheese and some green slip that barely resembled guacamole. The room...
