"The breakfast was delicious with different options. There is free parking on the premises and some restaurants within walking distance for dinner. Very nice owners and house. The bed was super comfortable. Highly recommend. "

"The host cancelled my booking the day before I was due to book in because I use a walking stick and the room was on the middle floor. When I made the booking there was no mention on the booking page about about difficulties I may have. The reason given was not enough room on the expedia page. I was also refused a refund, which I find very disappointing as it was the host who cancelled my booking, not myself. Very disappointed allround."

"Lovely little B&B with parking, inbetween Windermere and Bowness. The staff were super helpful, and breakfast was great. The only small downside was the lack of sound proofing of the rooms, particularly noise from the landing. Would still stay again though"

"Beautiful property with tasteful decor and a real homely feel. The car park is a real convenience right beside the hotel. Our room was immaculate and with a very large, very comfortable bed. A gorgeous view of the hills from the window really set the scene. The room also had a bath which was a bonus. Breakfast was delightful and with a good variety of options, including avocado sourdough toast. A brief walk into the centre of Ambleside to the bars and restaurants, not far at all. We had a lovely...
