"Partial sea view at best as we were put on floor zero in the furthest part of the hotel, booked queen and extra bed for my son in a junior suite, royal level, got twin and very uncomfortable sofa bed ( it was replaced with a single bed and they did offer to change our room but only after 4 days as they were full and we did not find it convenient to have to move all our stuff after 4 days. "We are regulars there. and are back again in April. The hotel is huge, in a quiet, out of town location and can have 500-800 guests at a time. Lots of free parking. It is being refurbished from 6th floor down. Communal chairs and tables are mostly new. The Spa needs massive investment to re-open so don't rely on it being open soon. Food is OK and was slightly better than it was in November but they cant do miracles at the price points they offer. Fish dishes are good. They cater to guests from...

"Very tired property, needs upgrading, not that clean, cockroaches! "

"Pools and rooms were clean. A lot of the pool loungers were broken but ample and the rooms were not soundproof at all. Housekeeping were very good and attentive. The food however, was not good at all. Beans at breakfast were like cold pebbles, the chocolate sauce for pancakes was more like chocolate water. For dinner, unless you like cold pasta or lots of seafood I wouldn’t recommend."

"A nice apartment in a good location, but it lets itself down with the lack of available sunbeds - mainly because of the usual selfish 'hoggers' that leave a towel on them even when they're not using them. "Although not particularly fancy, the hotel is quite nice but most importantly, the staff is very kind and helpful. I enjoyed my 5 night solo stay very much as Famara beach is only 15 mins drive, if you’re into surfing."
