"Handy location, great staff"

"This is my “go to” hotel when visiting the area. The staff were and always have been friendly, courteous and professional. The room affords excellent value for money. It is clean, well maintained and comfortable. The room is cleaned daily and any items, such as tea, coffee, milk and biscuits are replenished at the same time. I have not dined there and so cannot comment on the quality of the food. Thank you for another pleasant stay. "

"Everything was as we expected. Great staff, friendly bar and a great steak night. Not forgetting a fabulous breakfast. The only negative were the impressive bird droppings on my windscreen after I made the mistake of parking under the trees in the car park. Long journey to Tesco Wellingborough to find a car wash!"

"Great value, basic, clean, not modern but did its job. I needed a comfy bed, clean bathroom, nice and peaceful, good parking and great breakfast. It was cheap. Great family hotel, very friendly."

"Was greeted at reception by a lovely upbeat and friendly lady, the room was clean and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had great heating. The room also had adjustable A/C which had a wonderful heating option. No faults or problems. "

"Great stay, everything I needed for a very last minute booking, for one night, tea/coffee. Netflix login. Towels/Shower gels etc….Great breakfast to get me fuelled up before leaving. Right in the middle of town, easy access, and with the Vue Cinema next door, kept me entertained last minute. And the staff were fantastic and very friendly. Thank you."

"Brilliant stay at the Villiers Hotel. We received a room upgrade and found ourselves staying in a Duplex Suite. The hotel was spotlessly clean, staff all kind and caring and very well trained. Hotel room was spotlessly clean, spacious and very well heated during the cold spell we were experiencing. The hotel was very well maintained and presented quite a quirky and interesting persona. Breakfasts were promptly presented with an excellent range of cooked choices. Always a free parking space...
