"More like a Motel 6 than a resort. Only amenities were coffee at the lobby and a swimming pool. All of the rooms face the parking lot, no pool views. Extra towel not available, must turn in dirty towel to get a clean one. Room was clean."

"The rooms were gross mold on the ceiling and looked what appeared to be blood on the ceiling. The rooms smell old and musty They offer no continental breakfast as advertised. No need to complain they will tell you I’m not the manger sorry we just work here."

"A diamond in the rough with potential. If you just need a place to flop, sleep, have a hot shower and leave under 100.00$ this is the place when on Galveston Island. If you have issues with peeling paint on walls, etc. Then best to move on. Staff are polite, and helpful, parking is free and place is easy to find and less than 5 minutes away from the cruise terminals."

"The location is the best!!! That is literally what you are paying for. If you are not huge on amenities and you are there just to experience the beach and not the hotel then this is great. The hotel had one working elevator and rooms were very small for the money. No frills. The hotel is very unique and it is true what they say weird things do happen at this hotel. "This beautiful historic B&B was a joy to stay at. The breakfast was so delicious and had a great variety of items to choose from. I was especially impressed that with son with allergies to nuts, soy and dairy was able to eat the breakfast!"
