"We stayed at The Hideaway for 3 nights in August. Unfortunately the weather was very changeable so we couldn’t enjoy the outside surroundings very much as took advantage of the dry parts to explore. The room was quite small but still ok for us. The breakfast options are wonderful! Nothing was ever too much trouble if you wanted to exchange certain breakfast items and we were honestly so full we didn’t eat until the evenings. "Big clean room, comfy bed and the bathroom was a great size with good shower. Breakfast was lovely but you do not have a choice to make amendments to your order (eg add bacon/ egg etc if not already included) Very helpful staff when we called to help in advance of our stay. Would go back! "

"The house is in a beautiful location and we were greeted by Alfie. We were made welcome from the very beginning and looked after well. Our twin room was perfect with amazing views. We were recommended a walk to the lake and took a picnic, beautiful scenery and incredibly relaxing. A must do! We were provided with a delicious cooked breakfast and fresh bread. We will absolutely be visiting again and we wished we’d stayed longer than 1 night. "
