"The staff was very kind, welcoming, and informative, and our room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our stay. However, because there is no air conditioning, the room really needed a fan—especially when traveling in July. At the very least, ceiling fans would make a big difference during the warmer months. "This was our second time staying at the Victorian Inn. We enjoyed the proximity to Cannery Row and the Aquarium. Parking was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. The complimentary wine and cheese reception and breakfast were a nice bonus."

"We arrived at our room with a pre- check in, so did not have the opportunity to see any staff from the property. Our room had been renovated, but apparently not finished, as we had a wall behind the bed that had not been painted and a light fixture was missing. The beds were not comfortable and the water pressure was terrible. Very disappointed in this hotel, as I had much higher expectations. The woman is the office was rude to my friend."

"The night person (man) at the front desk was so rude and very disrespectful. My teenage daughter was asking him a question and he was rude and dismissive. He was not helpful at all. Parking is a problem if you get there late, you’re going to have to park in the street. Breakfast was okay. The cleaning lady was so nice and friendly. Not staying there again though."

"The room was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable after a long day of adventuring. The manager was very welcoming and had some snacks in the front for us. The room had a mild odor, and the bathroom had no hand soap, but other than that, the stay was very pleasant! I would return."

"The service here was abysmal Front desk seems like they hate customers. I’ve never experienced such INhospitality (cold, rude, cruel) in the hospitality industry. The parking lot was seriously a problem. You’ll spend about 20 minutes just trying to get out and in because it’s so dense and packed. I figured out that if I didn’t back into my space during the day, there would be no chance I could get out. My rental car was damaged by another driver because of how small the parking lot was....
