"Aura Inn was perfect for my needs. Being a single female traveler I am always careful about accommodations security. The hosts at Aura Inn responded to my needs and made sure to give me the room I asked for. The parking was easy and plentiful. The room was clean and modern. The fridge and microwave were needed and used. The room is basic but updated and fresh. Aura Inn is also right across from the Del Monte Center which has a Whole Foods and lots of other shops and chain restaurants. It is also a 10 minute drive to downtown Pacific Grove and the Aquarium. I will def stay again. Thank you Aura Inn!"

"Easy access off of street. Cozy in the woods. Room was spotless! Bathroom was beautiful and totally clean. Appreciated having a hair dryer!!! (so I didn't have to bring mine!) Shampoo and conditioner were there, I would bring my own next time....just a preference! Loved the giant picture window right by a giant redwood!!"

"Hard to even state how horrible this stat was. I understand this is considered a historic hotel, but there were absolutely no amenities. No heat (radiators did not work), no elevators, no refrigerator (although a teeny tiny, old one was brought to the room on request. The staff was rude and disengaged. The room was crammed with old, dilapidated furniture such that one could barely use the closet. The room was so small, there was no place for your luggage. But the worst part was the room was above the patio of the hotel’s event room. We checked in at 4 and it was so noisy that we immediately left the room. We came back at 9:30 pm pm and the drunken festivities were still raging and continued until after 11:00 pm. Steer clear of this dump!!"
