"The second guest services man was helpful and changed our room due to terrible noise and musty smell in the first room. He was very helpful. This hotel needs a HUGE remodel however. It is old, dated and the locks on the rooms are very antiquated. The shower/tub in the larger suite was odd and claustrophobic. I’m sorry but I would never stay here again."

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay here. The hotel is in a perfect location in the middle of cannery row with just a short walk to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and several outstanding restaurants. The deck overlooking the bay with comfortable seating and fire pits was a favorite spot of ours. We saw sea otters and sea lions in the bay and found it difficult to leave to continue our trip. We are already planning to come back next June! Book it you will love the hotel!"

"I thoroughly enjoyed my two-night stay at the Stevenson Monterey. I was fortunate to have a quiet corner room on the third floor, which turned out to be the perfect place to relax after long days of exploring. The location was one of the biggest highlights. "What I love most about staying at the Monterey Bay Inn is the ocean/harbor view. Chances are, if you are staying in the Monterey Bay area, it's for the area - not to sit inside the hotel. I have stayed there several times over the years. The rooms are well-kept. Bathrooms are very nice and great water/shower pressure.
