"We enjoyed staying at Deer Haven Inn. Perfect for a place to sleep comfortably and spend the rest of your day enjoying Monterey. Deer Haven is an older inn, but well maintained, very clean and beds comfortable. They are pet friendly for a few of course. The price is very reasonable. "

"Super cozy and homely B&B. Very nice owners with such genuine care for guests. Small details like afternoon charcuterie and local wine really added to the overall welcoming feeling. Highly recommend. "
"Well located for access to Cannery Row, Aquarium and waterfront trails. Parking 19$ per day extra but convenient and secure. Room was comfortable and quiet and housekeeping efficient . Continental breakfast best we have experienced in a week in the Carmel/Monterey area...freshly cooked omelettes and a variety of fruit etc options."

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet very much. It is not your typical pastry, coffee and cold cereal. Something for everyone and if you have any dietary restrictions let them know and they will accommodate your needs. I don’t eat gluten myself and they went out of their way to bake some gf berry muffins for me! "
"Nice place at good price. A bit of a cluster after we checked in and saw our room but didn't unpack Returned later to find several guys had moved in. Apparently someone overbooked? No worries, we got another room just as nice and enjoyed our stay. We would have stayed another night or two and visited Big Sur but it seems Auto Week in Monterey has got every hotel in the area booked the rest of the week."
