"Clean room, outside property clean and attractive. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice location. Easy access to downtown."

"Check-in was a nightmare! The place is very funky, not dirty, but not as expected. The room is small but nice parking is bad. We left for dinner and there was no where to park, so we parked in front of the ending machine. It’s such a small area, there should be assigned parking for each room!"

"We had a great stay. The inn was perfect.. charming, clean, staff friendly. Nice small heated pool. Was in the heart of downtown, easy to walk to all of the shops and restaurants as well as the beautiful beach. Good value and a great short stay."

"The price is aligned with what you get. It's just okay IMO. The coffee pot stopped working the 2nd day (woke up at 6am) and the office hours are 8-10 so for a coffee drinker that is pretty frustrating. Also, if you're anyone with a toiletry bag, there is no where to put it in the bathroom (no counter space for your hair tools or a bag). Speaking of hair tools, BYO hairdryer- the one they provide is awful, the handle gets so hot I had to stop half way through drying my hair to let it cool...

"The hotel felt very homey. Parking was easy and if the lot was full, there was street parking. Breakfast was more along the lines of coffee and pastries but they were good. I would highly recommend staying here. "

"Brakfast was good. But room was very small and crowded. Room was great. Clean andand comfortable. Parking lot was small and difficult to park my pickup truck "

"Beds were wonderfully comfortable. Room and bathroom were spacious and we enjoyed the delicious picnic breakfast on our balcony. Loved it."

"Nice clean room. This is an older property but well maintained. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only improvement I would suggest is to have a small microwave in the room. The location is excellent, only a few blocks from the center of the village. Price is reasonable for Carmel. They truly are pet-friendly."

"The room we were originally given was right in the front of the hotel on a busy street and was very noisy. After a conversation with the front desk we changed to a nice quiet interior room. I enjoyed the continental breakfast. It was well stocked with many options for eat and drink. Be advised that they do charge for parking which is below the hotel."

"Top notch in every way. We’re so glad we chose this motel. It’s in a great location. The valet parking was so convenient with an app to request your car whenever you wanted it. The restaurant was good and nice atmosphere right on the water. Good entertainment in the lobby every evening. "

"We stayed here for a couple nights after a drive to Big Sur and the 17 mile drive. We loved the hot tub and fireplace! Room was large and decor was pretty and enjoyed the big comfy bed! Could have used a microwave but the fridge was good size. The walk to shopping, restaurant, and the beach was easy. We would recommend this property snd would stay here again. "

"Loved this cute hotel. Very cozy, a lot of trees and plants around and on the property. Inside of the room is very cozy too, we had fireplace and the room was very clean and we felt so comfortable to stay there."
