"The Staff is excellent. The breakfast was limited but of good quality. My main issue was the bathroom situation. It might be fine in a suite, but the king bedroom situation was substandard. The house is lovely and I expect that this B & B is pretty much what you should expect in terms of price in Pacific Grove. It is an expensive area of CA and things cost more. "

"This hotel was a splurge but it was well worth it! The view and the ambiance was wonderful. The location was perfect for exploring the Cannery area of Monterey. I almost wished for a rainy day so we could have had more to time to sit by the fireplace and read. A lovely well maintained classic hotel. Not only were we delivered a continental breakfast but had a long stemmed rose placed on our table. "

"Would highly recommend staying here. The nice receptionist upgraded our room for free and all of the staff is very nice. The ocean view is beautiful. We had breakfast at the restaurant which was so delicious. The vanilla latte and Belgium waffle were a 10/10. "

"While the rooms and property are nice, I wasn't able to take advantage of the included breakfast as it didn't start till 8 amd I had to be on the whale watch boat by 7:30. I told them in advance of my situation wondering if I could get some sort of take away option but they would not accommodate me nor would they comp my bill. I also think it ridiculous that they charge $20 to park right outside your room on their property. We parked on street for free 100 ft away. Wouldn't stay again because...

"Everything was amazingly clean. The staff was above and beyond helpful and nice. Cannot say enough nice things about the staff. Location was also perfect. Bed was super comfortable. Parking was great also"

"I booked the stay the day before and paid $307 including taxes for one night for a room with two queen beds. It was the most affordable in the area that wasn’t a 2 star hotel. Wished it had a pool for that price, but I guess it’s just the hype of the area."
